You know what you do really, really, well. You deliver outstanding results that make your clients squeal with delight. Your testimonials read like someone describing the miraculous healing of an incurable ailment. Whether it’s through web design and development, marketing, or combining them all, you’ve developed a reputation to amaze: project after project, client after client. And every now and then a client asks you about their SEO or Analytics, or what kind of content they should have on their blog, and you have a few options.
You can take time away from doing what you do best, and love doing, to go research your way through an SEO audit or conversion funnel set-up or keyword research, and use free though cumbersome tools to help along the way. But you know it’s a fast moving field and that you just don’t do it often enough to be efficient, assuming you find it enjoyable. You know the paid tools would give you better results, and be faster, provided you wanted to put the time into learning about them and money into owning them.
Maybe you give your clients a few tips on choosing a consultant, or recommend a few options, none of whom you are 100% on. Maybe you’ve had bad luck with some shady, arrogant, or otherwise unhelpful SEO providers in the past. Now you try to gently steer clients away from it entirely, and save them the money and time you wasted. You figure that help with analytics, search, and content strategies can deliver great results when done right, but it’s been too hard to find someone you’d trust your clients with.
You don’t need a marketing or analytics consultant or SEO service, you need a content marketing, analytics, or SEO partner: someone you can forward those not-quite-in-your-wheelhouse client questions to so you can get back to being an expert at the things you know cold; someone that will make practical recommendations you and your client can understand; someone who is as committed to delivering value to your clients as you are. But you only need them from time to time, and certainly don’t want to pay them for the parts in between.
“Working with JF was one of the best decisions I made. Most other SEO people just want to hand you keywords to get pages moving up in ranking… and all that’s nice, but JF’s deliberate focus on SEO that creates business results – like sales, clients and income – was much more appropriate.
Click here to expandHis in-depth knowledge of business goes a long way when it comes to a better-performing website – no suggestion is ever arbitrary, and JF always thinks three steps ahead.
He works well within budget limits, takes the time to explain in language you can understand, and makes sure that he focuses on bottom-line results first, keywords second.
As a bonus, he also understands that SEO needs to reach reach real live human beings, and his ability to recommend and represent content in a way that moves pages up in ranking while still using very natural and business-focused language was a definite benefit.
After he applied his analytical skills to my two largest websites and integrated good SEO techniques that fit well with my business philosophy, my sites performed with better results and attracted more of my target audience than they did before. So what did I do?
I hired him as my long-term consultant. What else!”

Being that partner for top notch designers, developers, and marketers is a great way for me to do business. I have to collaborate with designers and devs to get changes to a client’s site, and with other marketers and content generators to make sure a client’s message is cohesive and being well received.  Working with the same partners on an ongoing basis means I get to know how you work, and you get to know what I need to do my job. Instead of us each adapting to whatever other providers our respective clients walk in the door with, we can develop an efficient workflow together: one that delivers more value to our shared clients.
From working under our own brands with separate billing to fully white-labeled subcontracting where your client never knows I’m there, there’s a lot of flexibility in how you can make use of my services. Supplied with an email address on your domain I can even deal directly with your clients, saving you a lot of email while making it look like you have your very own search, analytics, and content marketing specialist. Which, in a sense, you would – since I’m just an email away.
Don’t wait for a client to send you an email bragging about the 10 000 backlinks they just bought for only $19.99, or for that client to lose two-thirds of their traffic when Google notices. Let’s talk and see how we can work together.
